Tom Clarke MP

In Parliament

I very much enjoy the work of Parliament whether it is serving on a Select Committee, Presenting a Bill or speaking in the House of Commons Chamber on issues that matter to my constituents.  Normally I do not sign Early Day Motions unless specifically requested to do so by my constituents.

The Government under our new Prime Minister is determined to meet the rising aspirations of everyone in Britain.

I want the Government to build a fairer and more prosperous Britain and make our contribution to the poorest nations and people on this planet.   The centrepiece of this year's detailed Queen’s Speech in Parliament, are plans to broaden opportunity and increase security for all.  For information on any of these bills or to comment on specific issues for me to raise in the House or with Ministers please do not hesitate to contact me at the House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA.

Listed below are some examples of my activity in the House during this year. To view an archived list of my activities in the House please use the In Parliament Archive link in the side menu.
